00PM, (weekends until 9PM) Must be Available Weekends and Holidays SUMMARY Contribute to a positive Sundance retail experience by providing helpful, friendly service to guests and following accurate cash handling procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Possess exceptional knowledge of products in the general store.
Maintain a clean and organized store including but not limited to displays, dressing room, and register counter.
Warmly greet each guest entering the store.
Actively engage each guest to assess guest's needs and desired retail experience.
Assist guests with merchandise, accurately answering any questions regarding merchandise or the resort.
Find satisfactory solutions to guest complaints within business parameters.
Accurately handle cash each shift.
Accurately follow procedures on all transactions, i.
e.
:
gift cards, shipping, customer returns.
Re-stock merchandise in the store and maintain attractive displays.
Assist the manager and inventory supervisor with fulfillment of online/e-commerce orders.
Maintain the cleanliness of the store, including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, taking out trash, etc.
Straighten store and displays throughout shift.
Share the Sundance story of land preservation and commitment to the environment as the opportunity arises.
Support the recycling program.
Thank each guest for visiting the store.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.
DRESS CODE Sundance recognizes the impact that our image has on the guest's impression of the resort and the perception of our ability to provide professional service to our clientele.
As representatives of Sundance all employees including mangers are expected to be in compliance with the Dress Code determined for his/her department as defined in the job description or follow the standards below.
In order to best promote a positive, professional image that meets Sundance guest's expectations, employees are required to dress in a professional, conservative fashion that is appropriate for their area.
Please use the following as a minimum standard:
All aspects of the Personal Appearance policy (SPL#50) must be in compliance.
All staff are required to wear nametags at all times while on duty.
Clothing must be fashionable, unwrinkled, clean, and in good condition Blue jeans are permitted in clean, good condition, fashionably placed discoloration and moderate distressing is allowed.
Tank tops, halter tops, tube tops, and spaghetti straps are prohibited.
Sleeveless shirts are permitted for females.
Bare midriffs are prohibited.
Oversized, slogan tee shirts are prohibited.
Fashion shorts are allowed mid-thigh to knee, no short shorts or cut off jean shorts.
As with clothing, all footwear must be in clean, good condition.
No rubber flip flops.
No baseball hats Employees working in retail outlets may wear t-shirts and caps that are sold in their area if no uniform is provided.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
